I’m from B.Sc.(I.T.). Background and I’ve completed my Post Graduation in MBA(Operations) and having 2 years of experience in BPO as a Technical Support field.
Also, I have knowledge of SAP BI/BO and SAP HANA, Oracle 9i.
Can I get a job in Data Science as a Fresher?
Also, I wanted to know about Edvancer Eduventures Institute, whether they schedule any interviews for Data Science role in my case as they say that they provide 100% placement assistance.
Thanks & Regards,

Data Science is an interdisciplinary field which consists of statistics, programming and analysis. By having an adequate knowledge in these fields, you can start by building models and playing with the open data available on the internet.
You can definitely get a job as a fresher. The analytics is an emerging field and what the company looks in a fresher are the skills, that is, how well you know programming or how good are your analysis skills and not the certificates you possess. I would suggest to start with learning these domains and showcase your skills by participating in the hackathons. With the scores on the leader-board you can portray how good your skills are compared to the other participants. This will help you stand out in the community and also gives you an exposure to various kinds of dataset.
If the institute that your have mentioned claims to provide placement after the course completion, then I would request you to contact them personally. With good skills in this domain, finding a job will not be hard because there is a high demand for Data Scientists. Good Luck.

Thank you for your feedback, It really cleared my doubts regarding Data Science.
Now I will Pursue Data Science Course.
However, Can you please suggest me what will be the best option for me to study Dat Science like online training or classroom training? If classroom training then could you please recommend me some institutes who provide classroom training in Pune along with job assistance.
Thanks & Regards,

Opting for online or classroom training depends on whether you have access to the institutes for classroom training or not. I believe classroom training is better, since most of the institutes give you an option to stay back and practice with other students after the classes are done which is helpful.
You have to find institutes where they teach you programming languages like Python or R from scratch with Machine Learning concepts related to statistics and visualization. And also start working on datasets by yourself. Try UCI Machine Learning Repository to find some interesting datasets.
I personally do not know any institutes in and around Pune. One cannot guarantee a job after the certification, it solely depends on your performance. And also remember that Analytics domain believes in skill based recruiting because people are trying to shift their career towards Data science even though they do not have a strong programming background.
